Master Stylist – Colour & Cut
Amelia is more than a hairstylist, expressing her genuine passion for creating the perfect cut and colour for a client she is adamant that this is not the whole package. From the moment a client walks in the door, Amelia is already using her intuition to understand not only their desires and needs, but their personality; adjusting her approach appropriately to suit. “Making a client feel completely at ease is imperative when having an initial consultation”, says Amelia. “You need to build real trust and honesty because it’s only then that a client will believe in your advice”.
Alongside running a busy salon column Amelia Heads Up our Apprenticeship programme, delivering cutting education and guiding our assistants on their journey to becoming future Hare & Bone Stylists.
Amelia scooped up the title of Visionary 2020 at the prestigious Creative Head Magazine Awards, adding to With an array of merits to her name, Amelia was part of Wella Generation Now 2013, the Fame team 2015 and twice nominated as the UK Finalist for the Wella Trendvision Award, as well as assisting countless times at London Fashion Week. Loving the variety of work that hairstyling brings, Amelia enthuses that every client, whether famous, a model or a regular client, are treated with the same dedication and attention. Amelia loves nothing more than finding out about what makes her clients tick, ensuring she creates a cut and colour that exceeds expectation and that upon leaving the salon, every client feels uniquely cared for.
“I’m passionate about people, ensuring my clients always enjoy the whole experience of visiting the salon. It’s not just about the hair, it’s about the client feeling looked after. Working in partnership with them to truly understand what they are looking for and how they wish to feel, it’s then that we can get down to finding the right cut, colour and products to match. Along with a good injection of fun, good conversation and plenty of refreshments, it’s the perfect recipe for a happy client.”
