We are happy to offer a Student discount of 20%. Student appointments are subject to availability and will be with selected stylists on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays up until 5pm. A valid student ID card must be presented and student status must be mentioned at the time of booking.

Our time, like yours, is precious, so we do require 24 hours’ notice for cancelling appointments otherwise a 50% cancellation fee will be payable. We will always send out a text reminder 48 hours prior to your appointment time to remind you to cancel your appointment in plenty of time to rebook for a more convenient time (and avoid the charge).

Q. How far in advance do I need to book an appointment?
A. We encourage our clients to re-book their next appointment when leaving the salon. This will ensure seeing the stylist of your choice, at a time that suits you.
Q. How do I know which is the best stylist for me to choose?
A. All of our stylists are highly skilled professionals, but we know how important it is for you to get the right stylist for your needs. In the first instance, take a look at the profiles of all our MEET THE TEAM page, where you’ll find information about each member of the team, and their hair specialties. Alternatively, give us a call and one of our Front of House Team will be delighted to chat through your requirements with you and help you to choose the best stylist for you. Or just pop in and have a chat if you’re passing.
Q. What products do you use?
A. At HARE & BONE we believe using the right products is essential to creating and maintaining healthy, manageable hair. We have carefully chosen three outstanding brands to work with – KMS, Goldwell and Kerastase.
Q. What happens if I’m running late for an appointment?
A. All of our appointments are booked for the time you need for your hair requirements. If you are running late, we will try our hardest to give you the service you have booked. However, we don’t want to keep other clients waiting, so we may need to reschedule if your stylist has another client booked straight after.
Q. Do I require a skin test prior to having my hair coloured?
A. All of our colour services require an allergy test 48 hours prior to treatment. Whilst reactions are very rare, different people react to different ingredients so we cannot stress enough the importance of an allergy test before a colour service at Hare & Bone. Please contact our Front of House Team to arrange an appointment or alternatively we can send you a home testing kit in the post.
